Meet your bank’s evolving needs, the expectations of the audit committee, and the examiners! Our curriculum will expand your knowledge of auditing and banking whether you are a veteran auditor or new to the audit function.
The curriculum is designed to provide tools and step-by-step procedures to establish and maintain an effective internal audit function within a community bank. Areas covered include auditing basics, internal auditing working papers, auditing liabilities and other activities, auditing assets, and bank information systems auditing.

Model Risk Management (MRM) establishes the foundation for ensuring optimal model performance. Yet determining how to implement a “right-sized” approach can be challenging for many institutions.
This session provides a roadmap for building a strong MRM program from the ground up. Beginning with a practical definition of what constitutes a “model,” the webinar walks through the essential components of an effective framework; including governance, processes, and cultural mindset. Attendees will learn the key steps required to develop an MRM program that fits their institution’s size, complexity, and strategic needs.

This exercise will support and enhance the capabilities of community banks and the broader financial services sector in identifying, mitigating, responding to, and recovering from cyber incidents. The scenario is cascading in nature, with community banks facing escalating cybersecurity challenges—including phishing attacks, unauthorized use of AI tools, ransomware incidents, and data breaches that expose sensitive information.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore the impacts of cyberattacks that compromise business operations and customer data, as well as discuss their response plans, actions, and capabilities. Community bank technical staff and senior leadership are encouraged to participate together as a team.

This three-hour cyber tabletop exercise will be conducted virtually in collaboration with CISA. Each member of your team must register individually, even if you plan to join from a shared location on the day of the event. Do not share login information.
