You can register online until 5 p.m. (Eastern) on April 24th. After that time, you can register on-site at the event. We encourage you to register as soon as possible. **Please note, Capital Summit program dates have been changed to April 29-May 1. 

With Congress in the process of changing its calendar so that it will be in recess the week of May 4, moving the ICBA Capital Summit up a week is designed to ensure community bankers can maximize their policy impact during the summit—in line with its purpose of empowering community bankers to be heard on Capitol Hill.

Yes, if you previously registered, your registration is active with the new dates and nothing further needs to be done. If the new dates of April 29-May 1 do not work for you, please email events@icba.org opens in a new tab to cancel your registration. 

If you’re attending leadership meetings you will receive an email with specifics on recommended arrival and departure dates. The first session of ICBA Capital Summit for all attendees will begin at 2 p.m. on April 29.  

You do not need to cancel it at this time, and more information will be shared the week of March 30 on all Westin reservations and reserving a room at the Grand Hyatt. 

Many convenient available options from local airports to the hotel. For reference, Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) is about 5 miles away from the Hyatt Regency. Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) are also accessible. 

Uber or Lyft 

Rideshare options are plentiful, and rates vary depending on the time of your ride, type of vehicle, etc. Use the Uber or Lyft app for more detailed information. 

Taxi  

A taxi from DCA to the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill typically costs between $20 and $25. The trip is approximately 5 miles; 7 to 13 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. 

Metro Train  

The Washington, D.C. area has a robust public transit system. The closest DC Metro Station to the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill (400 New Jersey Ave NW) is Union Station (Red Line), located about 3 blocks or 0.5 miles away. Another nearby option is the Judiciary Square station (also Red Line).

Yes, a mobile app for the ICBA Capital Summit will be available, and all registered attendees will be provided with access via email instructions approximately 7-10 days in advance of Capital Summit. You can download the “ICBA Events” app in your App Store or Marketplace, and the event will self-populate when it’s available.
