ICBA sent a letter to the OCC objecting to Morgan Stanley Digital Trust, National Association’s application to charter as a national trust bank. ICBA urged the OCC to deny MSDTNA’s application, as it raises serious questions such as the statutory authority for the proposed activities; the potential for regulatory arbitrage; and safety-and-soundness risks associated with concentrated digital-asset activities.
