ICBA sent a letter to House Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill (R-Ark.) and Financial Institutions Subcommittee Chairman Andy Barr (R-Ky.) in strong support of their Main Street Capital Access Act (H.R. 6955). ICBA said the legislative package contains bills that have the potential to transform the regulatory and competitive landscape for community banks, expand access to credit for American consumers and small businesses, and support growth and job creation in local economies.
