Mayté Rivera

Director, CRA Support Services

Maytè Rivera is a seasoned CRA and consumer protection leader with more than two decades of consumer protection regulatory experience.

Her career spans state government, financial institutions, and community development organizations, including public service as Deputy Commissioner for the Massachusetts Division of Banks - CRA, Fair Lending, and Consumer Protection Supervision. She has led CRA, Fair Lending, and consumer compliance oversight; assisted with the development of the updated federal Consumer Compliance Rating System representing the state regulatory community banking system.

She has built data, governance, and impact‑measurement frameworks used by boards, auditors, and executive teams. Her CRA and community development guidance across financial institutions and non-profits strengthened CRA strategy, increased community investments, and modernized impact reporting through scalable analytics and institution‑wide measurement systems.

Rivera has her Law, Policy and Society doctoral education (ABD) from Northeastern University, and a Masters in Community and Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University. She has been recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration, and the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) for notable contributions supporting minority small businesses, and for strengthening examination frameworks across state and federal financial institutions.
