2024 Summer Internship Diaries - Vol. 8

After 9 amazing weeks at ICBA this summer, we have reached our final day as interns. All 6 of us worked in different departments and we each had a unique and amazing experience.

We have worked hard in our respective departments, learning something new each day, and we have also had moments to have fun and enjoy our summer together. One of our favorite memories was our Community Service Day, where we were able to give back to the DC area community by bagging meals with an amazing organization, Food & Friends. We had the opportunity to give back to our community while having a fun morning outside of work.

This summer, we have learned so many valuable skills that we will take with us forever. As we move forward into the school year and then into years beyond into the workforce, we will cherish what we have learned here at ICBA.

We completed projects in our departments, and Humaira Mir supported us through workforce skill building experiences, such as resume building and interview skills. Everyone at this company has been so helpful and kind throughout our experience here, and we have felt uplifted in many different aspects, which will lead us into our future workplace with confidence.

We hope that those who were able to attend our Final Presentation enjoyed learning about what we were able to accomplish this summer. It has been a rewarding experience, and we appreciated being able to share our achievements with all of you!
