The Community Development Financial Institutions Fund announced it will resume acceptance of new applications for Certification as a Community Development Entity effective Sept. 9.
Background: The CDFI Fund said the blackout period announced on May 5 provided an opportunity for it to assess the resources available on its website. Certification as a CDE is required for organizations that wish to apply for tax credit allocation authority under the New Markets Tax Credit Program.
