ICBA: Community Banking Month celebrates America’s economic engine

ICBA said Community Banking Month in April highlights the critical role community banks serve in powering local economies, supporting small businesses, and strengthening communities.
Details: In a national news release, ICBA President and CEO Rebeca Romero Rainey said community banks provide capital, reinvest in their communities, and help individuals and small businesses navigate challenges and achieve financial success.
Local Impact: “Community banking is about showing up every day for the people and places we serve,” said ICBA Chair Alice Frazier, president and CEO of Potomac Bank in Charles Town, W.Va.
