Independent Banker honors best community banks to work for

This month’s Independent Banker magazine recognizes the best community banks to work for, as nominated and scored by bank employees.
Details: The list features five of the industry’s top employers across five asset classes—less than $250 million in assets, $251 million to $500 million, $501 million to $750 million, $751 million to $1 billion, and more than $1 billion.
2025 Honorees: This year’s Best Community Banks to Work For are:
Bank of Bozeman, Mont.
Texas Traditions Bank in Katy, Texas.
Peoples Bank & Trust in Buford, Ga.
Olympia Federal Savings in Olympia, Wash.
Peoples Bank in Lubbock, Texas.
Impact: In a national news release, ICBA President and CEO Rebeca Romero Rainey applauded this year’s honorees for promoting a people-first culture that creates spaces where employees are valued, engaged, and driven to better their communities.
