Washington, D.C. — ICBA CRA Solutions/USI Alliance, a subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA), today announced the appointment of Kristine LaVigna as president and CEO. In this role, LaVigna will lead all operations of USI Alliance and its business units, advancing the company’s mission to strengthen communities through CRA-aligned lending and investment.
“Kristine brings deep expertise and a proven track record of leadership to this position,” ICBA Senior Executive Vice President of Innovation Kevin Tweddle said. “We’re fortunate to have such a steady hand guiding this organization and look forward to leveraging her talents in service of community banks and the customers and communities they serve.”
Since joining ICBA CRA Solutions in 2013, LaVigna has taken on increased responsibilities commensurate with her experience. Prior to joining the organization, she spent 18 years in investment banking in New York City and later launched her own consulting practice, helping small businesses develop and implement effective growth strategies.
“I'm honored to lead ICBA CRA Solutions and support the Community Reinvestment Act efforts of community banks nationwide,” said LaVigna. “Together, we will continue developing innovative programs that make a meaningful difference for some of the most vulnerable members of our communities."
For more than 25 years ICBA CRA Solutions has empowered community banks to meet their CRA obligations while reinforcing their commitment to protect at-risk seniors in low- to moderate-income communities.
