The demand for financial education is clear: 30+ states require financial education to graduate, and parents believe financial skills are foundational. Parents overwhelmingly view financial education as essential. Yet many are unaware of what their children are learning, and large gaps exist in long-term skills such as investing, credit, and retirement planning. New survey findings from Everfi show that families welcome financial institutions as partners in expanding access to financial education and often place greater trust in institutions that invest in their communities.

This webinar will explore what parents expect from financial education, what gaps exist in current understanding, why trusted private-sector partnerships matter, and how community banks can use school partnerships to strengthen local relationships, demonstrate meaningful community impact, grow brand trust, and begin building financial confidence with future customers and their families.

Key takeaways:

  • Understand what parents expect from financial education and where knowledge gaps remain.
  • Identify ways financial education can support long-term engagement with students, families, and future customers.
  • Explore how community banks can use school partnerships to strengthen local relationships and build brand trust.
