Trump nominates Warsh to lead Fed

President Donald Trump nominated Kevin Warsh to serve as Federal Reserve chairman to replace Jerome Powell, whose term as Fed chair ends in May.
Background: Warsh served as a Fed governor from 2006 to 2011 and as an economic aide in George W. Bush’s administration.
ICBA View: In a national news release, ICBA President and CEO Rebeca Romero Rainey congratulated Warsh on his nomination.
