Trump signs bill to reopen government
November 14, 2025 / By ICBA
President Donald Trump signed into law legislation to reopen the federal government through Jan. 30 following House passage of the measure.
Details: The continuing resolution keeps key programs funded at certain levels—including the Small Business Administration/U.S. Department of Agriculture lending programs and Community Development Financial Institutions Fund—and temporarily reinstates the National Flood Insurance Program and the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015.
ICBA Advocacy: ICBA in October called on all sides to work together to reopen the government and this week issued a statement welcoming bipartisan efforts to end the shutdown.
