Federal banking regulators and the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation released an interagency statement on supervisory practices for financial institutions in areas of California affected by wildfires and straight-line winds.
Details: The agencies said they recognize the serious impact of the conditions on the customers and operations of many financial institutions and will provide appropriate regulatory assistance to affected institutions subject to their supervision. They also encouraged financial institutions operating in the affected areas to meet the financial services needs of their communities.
