Farm Bill Conference Schedules Public Meeting

House and Senate Agriculture Committee leaders scheduled the first public meeting of the farm bill conference committee. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 5. ICBA and other organizations recently urged committee leaders to reconcile the bills’ differences and pass a conference report that can be signed into law.
