FDIC details GENIUS Act information-collection proposal

The FDIC published new information on its recent proposed rule to implement requirements under the GENIUS Act.
Details: The FDIC on April 10 proposed a rule that includes weekly and quarterly reporting forms that must be completed by FDIC-supervised permitted payment stablecoin issuers. The new Financial Institution Letter provides notice of the forms and instructions in support of the proposal.
Input: Comments on the proposed forms and instructions are due 60 days after publication in the Federal Register.
