Fed’s Bowman: Changes to capital rules coming soon

Federal Reserve Vice Chair for Supervision Michelle Bowman said federal banking regulators will soon propose rules to implement the final phase of the Basel III Endgame capital standards.
Basel III Endgame: Speaking in Washington, D.C., Bowman said the changes to the capital framework—which could come as soon as next week—will eliminate overlapping requirements, right-size calibrations to match actual risk, and address long-standing gaps in the prudential framework.
