ICBA urged the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense to ensure the fiscal 2021 defense spending bill does not include any expansion of the Farm Credit System.
ICBA urged the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense to ensure the fiscal 2021 defense spending bill does not include any expansion of the Farm Credit System. In a letter to the panel, ICBA said such legislation would not be germane to the subcommittee’s jurisdiction and would be an improper authorization of expanded authority within an appropriations bill.
