The Senate Banking Committee voted to advance several nominations out of committee.
The Senate Banking Committee voted to advance several nominations out of committee:
Jonathan Gould to be comptroller of the currency by a vote of 13-11.
Paul Atkins to be a member of the Securities and Exchange Commission by a vote of 13-11.
Luke Pettit to be an assistant secretary for financial institutions at the Treasury Department by a vote of 19-5.
Next Step: The nominations will go to the full Senate for final confirmation.
