Federal banking regulators extended until Oct. 30 the comment period on a request for information on bank-fintech arrangements.
Federal banking regulators extended until Oct. 30 the comment period on a request for information on bank-fintech arrangements.
Details: The agencies said extending the comment period will allow the public more time to consider the request, prepare comments, and address the questions posed by the agencies. Instructions for commenting begin on page 2 of the Federal Register notice.
ICBA Input: ICBA and other groups last month requested a 30-day extension to the comment period, noting that bank-fintech partnerships play a crucial role in the evolution of banking and that this important issue warrants additional time to thoroughly consider stakeholders’ input.
