The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is now accepting applications for membership on the Community Bank Advisory Council and other advisory committees through July 16.
How to Apply: The CFPB is encouraging applications from community bank current employees and representatives of institutions that serve underserved communities. Interested community bankers can visit the CFPB website to apply with cover letters, résumés, recommendation letters, and completed questionnaires.
Background: The CBAC fosters dialogue and input between community bankers and the CFPB, which supports the bureau’s policy development, rulemaking, and other engagement matters affecting community banks.
