The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau said it recently sent $6 million in financial relief to consumers harmed by illegal lending practices targeting veterans.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau said it recently sent $6 million in financial relief to consumers harmed by illegal lending practices targeting veterans. The checks were sent Dec. 27 through Rust Consulting after five people and their companies were penalized for misleading consumers into selling their pension and disability payments.
