Community bankers interested in speaking during the next Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act regulatory review must register by today.
Background: Federal banking regulators recently issued their third request for comment under the latest EGRPRA regulatory review, which seeks comments on regulations concerning rules of procedure, safety and soundness, and securities. Written comments are due March 11 and may be submitted to the agencies’ EGRPRA site.
Virtual Outreach Meeting: In announcing the request for comment, the regulators said they will hold a second ICBA-advocated virtual public outreach meeting at 1 p.m. (Eastern time) Thursday, March 6.
More: Bankers do not need to register if they are not speaking. The March 6 virtual meeting will stream on the EGRPRA website.
Resources: ICBA last fall created the Community Bank Guide to Preparing EGRPRA Statement and Comments and submitted comments on the second round of EGRPRA review.
