ICBA Bancard today is hosting a webinar to answer community banker questions about the mid-2023 launch of the FedNow instant payments service.
About: Scheduled for noon (Eastern time) today, the webinar will feature the Federal Reserve’s Dan Gonzalez. Following ICBA’s advocacy supporting the launch of FedNow and reminding policymakers that it is a more effective alternative to a U.S. central bank digital currency, the webinar will cover common questions about instant payments and how it fits into the evolving payments market.
New Guide: Separately, ICBA Bancard recently released “Digital Transformation: The Payments Business Model,” a new guide to help community banks adapt their payments strategies to meet customer needs, generate new revenue, and retain existing relationships.
