Fleetwood Bank Announces New Vice President / Chief Operating Officer, Rachel Bashore

Fleetwood Bank is pleased to announce that Rachel Bashore has joined the team as Vice President, Chief Operating Officer
Bashore most recently worked as a Compliance Risk Officer at Customers Bank where she was responsible for compliance risk management in the mobile banking division. Prior to working with Customers Bank, she held the position of Regulatory Affairs Manager and Compliance Officer for Fulton Financial Corporation. Bashore is also a licensed attorney with a background in information technology, and comes
to Fleetwood Bank with experience in fintech, regtech, supervisory and government relations, as well as commercial and corporate litigation.
Bashore’s focus will be managing the Bank’s risk elements pertaining to internal audit, compliance, disaster recovery/business continuity, reputation and security risks. She will be responsible for ensuring compliance with various operating policies and procedures and various regulatory requirements. She will lead the Operations Division in order to provide efficient, accurate, and cost-effective technical and operational support services.
Bashore is a 2006 cum laude graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law, where she was inducted into the Woolsack Honor Society and served as a Senior Editor of the Penn State Law Review. She graduated in 2001 from Drexel University with a Bachelor of Science, and served as President of the Greater Reading Young Professionals from 2008-2009. Bashore is a 2007 graduate of the Leadership Berks program, has served on various community boards and is currently active with the Junior League of Reading. She resides in Muhlenberg Township with her husband, Christopher, and their two children.
