ICBA Bancard, the payments services subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America, today announced Malallai “Mal” Zalmai as vice president, project manager.

Washington, D.C. (April 6, 2021) — ICBA Bancard, the payments services subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), today announced Malallai “Mal” Zalmai as vice president, project manager. In her new role, Zalmai will serve as project lead for ICBA Bancard and will define, develop and oversee project management processes—from ideation to completion.
“We are thrilled to welcome Mal, a results-oriented and process-driven professional to the ICBA Bancard team,” said Tina Giorgio, ICBA Bancard president and CEO. “Her experience with managing large-scale projects and focus on new technology implementation will serve our community bank members well.”
Zalmai has more than 16 years of professional experience. She most recently served as project manager at Park University, where she focused on system administration and analysis, project portfolio management, and international business.
Zalmai has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Park University in Missouri. She is a certified Project Management Professional.
