ICBA Bancard, the payments services subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America, today announced Alicia Marrone as executive vice president of client engagement and business development.

Washington, D.C. (March 6, 2023) — ICBA Bancard, the payments services subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), today announced Alicia Marrone as executive vice president of client engagement and business development. In this role, Marrone will help community bank clients maximize card portfolio performance while growing ICBA Bancard’s business.
“We are pleased to welcome Alicia, a results-oriented and respected payments professional, to the ICBA Bancard team,” ICBA Bancard President and CEO Tina Giorgio said. “Her extensive payments and marketing experience will be extremely beneficial as we help community banks distinguish themselves in a crowded payments field and continue to innovate to meet the evolving needs of their customers.”
As part of her responsibilities, Marrone will drive growth and develop outreach goals and strategies for ICBA Bancard's relationship management and business development teams. She is also tasked with helping make product and service recommendations for client banks in support of their business objectives to ensure cardholder satisfaction, and with providing education and customer service to ICBA Bancard’s existing clients.
Marrone brings more than 20 years of financial services experience, with a focus in payments, cards, and core banking. Her work experience includes a seven-year stint at Fiserv, where she served most recently as director of marketing in its Bank Solutions Group. Marrone also worked for 16 years at American Express in various marketing and business development roles in Global Corporate Services and Global Payment Options.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Rutgers Business School and a Master of Arts in Strategic Communications from Rowan University.
