As hundreds of community bankers prepare to attend ICBA Capital Summit, which kicks off on Sunday, May 28, ICBA is urging community banks to show support by sending this letter to their members of Congress.
Studies by leading Washington thinktanks show that advocacy efforts are more successful with letter-writing campaigns. Community banks will discuss a range of top issues during meetings with policymakers, including calling for credit union hearings, supporting rural America, reigning in regulatory overreach, opposing credit card routing mandates, and closing the industry Loan Company loophole permanently.
