Day 1 of ICBA Connect featured new videos detailing the important relationship between community banks and small businesses during the pandemic.
Videos: Available on banklocally.org and featuring representatives from Tioga State Bank, Bank of Idaho, and M&F Bank, the videos discuss the role of community banks in local economies with a focus on their Paycheck Protection Program leadership.
Ongoing Series: The new videos build upon ICBA’s ongoing series on banklocally.org about what differentiates community banks from other financial institutions. Videos released last fall feature small-business owners who successfully received PPP loans from community banks, often after megabanks proved unresponsive.
Social Media: ICBA is featuring the new videos on its social media channels with the #BankLocally hashtag and encourages community bankers nationwide to weigh in and promote the campaign to their followers.
More: Banklocally.org also features: ICBA's Community Bank Locator allowing consumers and small businesses to find a community bank near them; blog posts on the benefits of community banking; and articles on how community banks are leading the economic recovery.
