ICBA and other groups called on the OCC to withdraw the CRA Information Collection Survey that was published in the Federal Register in December.
In a letter to the OCC, the groups said that while the agency's CRA final rule will not be fully enacted until January 2023, the survey requires banks to effectively implement the new data reporting elements in short order.
The groups also delivered the letter to members of the Biden Transition Team following meetings to discuss CRA reform and encourage an interagency approach.
