ACRE Act: ICBA is encouraging community bankers to use its Be Heard grassroots action center to urge their lawmakers to co-sponsor the Access to Credit for our Rural Economy (ACRE) Act, which would exempt from taxation interest income on farm real estate and rural mortgage loans in small towns.
Overdraft Resolution: Community bankers can also use Be Heard to continue urging their members of Congress to support a congressional resolution to overturn the CFPB’s overdraft rule after the House Financial Services Committee recently advanced the measure.
