ICBA is calling on community bankers to urge their members of Congress to include six key principles in this year’s farm bill.
ICBA is calling on community bankers to urge their members of Congress to include six key principles in this year’s farm bill.
Be Heard: Community bankers can use ICBA’s Be Heard grassroots action center to contact their lawmakers on ICBA principles such as providing ample funding, maintaining a strong crop insurance program, and enhancing USDA guaranteed loan programs.
ICBA Letter: ICBA laid out its six principles in letters to the House and Senate agriculture committees earlier this year.
Outlook: The agriculture committees began meeting on the 2023 farm bill last year, with hearings set to continue after Congress returns to Washington next week. Contact Congress.
