Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Kathleen Kraninger encouraged public input on the bureau's request for information on the regulatory environment.
Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Kathleen Kraninger encouraged public input on the bureau's request for information on the regulatory environment. Testifying at a Senate Banking Committee remote hearing, Kraninger said the RFI is focused on expanding access to credit while protecting consumers from discrimination in credit transactions.
Kraninger is scheduled to address the House Financial Services Committee today. Also today, the Senate panel is scheduled to vote on several nominations, including Kyle Hauptman for the National Credit Union Administration Board.
