ICBA Bancard, the payments services subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America, announced the hire of Nick Denning as senior vice president of payments industry relations.

Washington, D.C. (June 2, 2021) — ICBA Bancard, the payments services subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), announced the hire of Nick Denning as senior vice president of payments industry relations.
In his new role, Denning will represent ICBA Bancard and its community bank customers on industry boards, councils, and committees regarding digital payments, emerging technology, and payments format standards.
“We are pleased to welcome Nick, a seasoned and accomplished payments professional to the ICBA Bancard team,” said Tina Giorgio, ICBA Bancard president and CEO. “Nick’s experience delivering and supporting payment solutions for community banks make him ideally suited to oversee ICBA Bancard’s industry relations program as we work to develop timely and relevant community bank-centric solutions and ensure that our clients’ interests are prominently represented in payment industry discussions.”
Denning has more than 15 years of payments experience, including more than 10 years with the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, where he led the delivery and support of payments connectivity solutions and processing platforms for domestic banks. He most recently served as director over enterprise payments for Farmers Insurance, where he was responsible for payment acceptance, the end-to-end payment experience, and transitioning disbursement platforms towards faster payments.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Central Missouri, and a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
